| Formed in 1994, the band is nearing if not already at legendary status worldwide. This artful performance, propelled by the transportive vocals and bowed electric guitar of band frontman, Jónsi Birgisson, is filled with melodic nuance, deliciously unintelligible lyrics (even if your Icelandic is perfect), and an epic finale. Lusciously filmed in black and white, the show builds up slow and then explodes like a steam train crashing into a wall of confetti. We’ll turn this one up to 11 if you don’t mind.
